A lump?

I haven't posted yet other than a intro awhile ago but I read everyday so I know you guys can be a fountain of information. I have a quick question. I am 3 weeks (today) out from a TAH. My recovery has been pretty good thus far but...About 2 weeks ago I started to feel a lump about an inch above the incision and it hurts. sometimes it almost burns. I asked my Dr. about it and he said it was scar tissue and wasn't concerned at all. Is this normal? (I am sad to say that I don't have the most confidence is my Dr.) Should I be concerned?

A lump?

Hi tasker07, I think you have every right to be concerned. I have been having a horrible time with my DR because she didn't listen to me and now I have a kidney infection. I would watch that area closely and if it gets hot, red or painful to touch I would definetly put another call in! I hope you start feeling better soon.
