Painful Ovulation

I have a question for anyone who can possibly answer this. When my doctor performed my ultrasound, she diagnosed me with adenomyosis, which confirmed with my symptoms of heavy and frequent cycles. Also I have very, very painful ovulation, that only lasts for maybe 2 hours, but when I do have the pain, it hurst in my rectum also. SOrry if it is TMI. But she did not see anything but maybe some normal cysts on the ultrasound,, why am I having pain during my ovulation cycle?

Painful Ovulation

Hey Blessed3x, I also had horrible pain and spotting when ovulating. I have gone to the ER a couple of times because it was on my right side and I didn't want to blow it off and die from appendicitis. I just had my hyst and my doc found endo in addition to the adeno and some of it was near my right ovary and he figures that this was the problem. I also had serious back pain before the hyst and I haven't experienced it since even though I spend most of my day laying down. Some things you just can't explain until they get in there. I told my doc that he better look in every nook and cranny and remove as much of the endo as he could if I had it (which I did).
