Had the works removed almost 4 weeks ago. Still had more or less regular periods before the op and while still in hospital started the sweats, flashes, mood swings (according to my husband!)...Last week started on Livial which seems to be evening things out even now - only two flashes yesterday and had a relative good sleep last night. I figure my poor 48 year old body is just screaming about its sudden loss of ovaries and if hrt helps ease the transition then why wait! If it helps I figure I'll stay on for a few years only until I would have naturally had a menopause (50 or so).
If HRT can reduce the stress your body is going through then it is worth investigating. For me so far so good...
Hope this helps - I just found this place!
