SAH PMS and mood cycles

I still have ovaries/cervix and am feeling very emotional/likely PMSy as thus is about the time of the month I would get my period. Just over 4 weeks postop.

I have always had PMS, but I've also had a great rush of feeling wonderful when i finally got my period. (I feel like the rare hyst patient who never really had difficult periods). So I'm wondering now, will I have that feeling too if im still having the PMS? Does anyone still having PMS still have the moments where you suddenly feel much better? I am really going to miss that... :sad:

I kept my ovaries . I have read on here we can still have all symptoms of PMS minus the blood. I am 3 months post op and have not noticed any .The first month post op I had crazy emotional issues. I'm not sure if it was just the trauma of the surgery or temporary ovary shut down. All that seems to be resolved now.I started keeping a journal to see if there was any cycle pattern and for me, I haven't seen any. I have absolutely no cramping or pain at all once my initial recovery was over. I have basically been writing down in a journal my moods to see if there are any cyclic PMS pattern symptoms. Luckily for me, I can't find any. I'm hoping it stays that way, but I have read of other ladies having the cycle issues.Take it easy and don't over do things ! You only have one chance to heal correctly.
