Hemorrhoids anyone?

My surgery date is July 22

At my last check-up (Every 6mo for the last 10 years, due to abnormal paps) my Dr. told me that my uterus has enlarged & suggested that I have a transvaginal ultrasound. At this same appt I asked about removal of rectal tissue tags & small hemorrhoids, she said that she doesn't do that surgery, but gave me the name of a Colon/Rectal surgeon, I went to the recommended Dr. & she suggested excision surgery (about 10 days recovery) But, before I scheduled this surgery they got the results of my ultrasound, which revealed 4 large fibroids, polyps & a blood filled cyst on my right ovary.

So my question is has anyone had both surgeries at the same time, I see where tummy tucks have been scheduled at the same time, so I thought I would ask...

There was another post on this a while back. I think for the most part it was not recommended doing both at the same time.

I had hemorroids before surgery. I had fibroids pressing on my anus. I'm about 9.5 weeks post-op and the hemoroids have disappeared.

Hi, my dr did not advise having both done at the same time. He also recommended a colon/rectal dr for me to see. I still have not had the hemorrhoids removed and I'm 3 years post op from my hyst. The hemorrhoids have not gotten better but they're not worse either.
