3 weeks post hysterectomy: When will this Seroma go away???

Surgery went well, but a large seroma still haunts me... so much for that super-flat stomach my doctor was proud of that first day!

I'm so anxious about it reabsorbing... doctor an nurse says it will "in a couple of weeks", but now it's three weeks later and I'm seeing so little progress. Incision wound is staying tight, so no drainage has occurred.

Re: When will this Seroma go away???

Unfortunately, you may need to wait a little longer before you see a super flat stomach, could be weeks or months, you will have to be patient. As you progress through your recovery, you will do more activities which will create some inflammation in your belly, hence it will be swollen.
Ice can help reduce the inflammation
