Anaesthetic time - LAVH

Hi,
I'm on the big countdown until April 20th now.
For those of you who have had a hysterectomy - how long were you under the anaesthetic for? Rather than focus on the little things, I'm starting to fret about the little things now. I really want Rob there when I wake up and I was wondering how long it takes. A friend of mine who worked in theatres told me that I should just ask them to call him to come up to the hospital when I am being moved from recovery to the ward - great idea! I'm just curious now how long it all *should* take. I am having an LAVH.

This is one you'll have to verify with your dr - because surgery time can vary-- and then of course the "coming around" time will vary too.

I had a TAH, and I know I wasn't aware of being awake until I was back in my room- which was about 2.5 hours from the time surgery started.
