Severe lower back pain in week 3 post

I have followed my doctor's directions to a tee. My family is taking very good care to make sure that I do not over do it. Some days, I am doing great and have tons of energy. Today, I slept most of the day and had to take a prescription pain med. That is how bad the lower back pain was. Is this normal or should I call the doctor on Monday?

Do you have any fevers or painful urination? Just want to make sure you are not experiencing a urinary tract or kidney infection. Otherwise, could it be muscular aches from resting? I hope it all resolves soon.

I've had back pain as well. I take Motrin and occasionally use the heating pad. It does get better! Take care!
