Just alittle over a week to go

Hi all ,my name is Christine I am having an lvh on the 14 th of this month. I am getting blood work done later this week and then meeting with the doctor the day before surgey.So far I have been handleing it very well .I just am afraid I am not going to be able to get everything I need to get done around the house and for my kids before hand.I am trying to take it easy and not stress to much. I am planing to stay with my parents for a few days after sugrey because my hubby is in the army and is not with me right now. I think I will need help with the kids after but not really sure for how long.

I think that last week of waiting is the most difficult. I know all the things you want to get done seem a little overwhelming. I remember that feeling so well!!! Try to relax as much as possible. Things have a way of working themselves out. You are fortunate to have your parents close by. That is a blessing.

How tough not to have your husband with you at this time. My surgery is scheduled for the 13th and I couldn't imagine doing this without him here to help me. It's nice to know that someone else is going to be having surgery the same time I am and after reading your post it's great to know I'm not just obsessing about the things to get done and the care of the children Best Wishes!
