Home and glad to be here!

Just wanted to send thanks and s to all of my sisters for the well wishes and encouragement before my surgery day. I had my TVH at 4:00 pm Tuesday and was home by 9:00 am on Wednesday! For all of you LIW I will say, from my experience, that the waiting and anticipation was worse than the actual experience! Not that I would want to do it every day, but it was not near as bad as I was anticipating.

My fear now is that I feel so good that I am going to have a hard time staying off of my feet and not doing what I am not supposed too! I know, I know, I must not overdo!

Thanks again for your support!

I'm home too!!!

Welcome home! Isn't it good to be home?

You sound like me...I went in at 6:00 on wed. morn. and got out today at about 11:00. Doc said I was doing great!

You are sooooooo right! It was not as bad as I had imagined either!

s to all, Trina

I'm home too!!!

It is GREAT to be home! I can relax and rest so much better here. At first when the doctor told me one day in the Castle I thought he was crazy, but by 6:00 the next morning I was ready to leave. Thank goodness he makes his rounds early!

I am so very glad that you are doing so well too! I think this website and the support that we all receive here makes a difference in our recovery because we can know what to expect from other women who have actually been through it!

to all the sisters out there!!!

I'm home too!!!

welcome home..yah feeling good does make it hard for one to behave..just keep in mind you don't want to be stuck in the house longer than you have to when you feel like you are going to try something you know you shouldn't just ask yourself if it will be worth an extra week or more in bed to vaccuum the livingroom.(yucky thought good deterant). Now go get a BIG glass of water and stroll your self back to bed.
So Glad it was a good experience for you..lets keep it that way

I'm home too!!!

Thanks Arlene! You are right I don't want to be stuck in the bed for an extra day, much less an extra week. I have my water in hand and will head back to bed right now. I will even wait to post my Castle story until tomorrow!

Take care and thanks again!
