2 days post op

Had robot radical on tuesday. Doing GREAT. Gas pains are the worst part. I feel little explosions all day and night inside my bowels. It feels really good to pass some gas, but that is not easy to do unless I am sitting on the toilet. Walking seems to help. I am drinking lots of water and taking fiber to help speed things up. No bowel movement yet, but I have not eaten much yet either.
The surgery was supposed to take 3 hours, but took 6 hours due to so much scar tissue from my liver surgey. The doctor said it went really good. He removed a boat load of lymph nodes along with a good part of the omentum. I am truely amazed at how good I feel. I am not as tired as I thought I would be. My last surgery (liver resection) left me drained and really sore. I feel like this was a very easy surgery thanks to the da vanci and my Lord in Heaven. God is Good all the time.

Make sure, no matter how much better you're feeling, you still take it easy. A lot of people forget about the internal stuff once they're feeling well on the outside. Most of the time your body will alert you, before it's too late, when you've overworked yourself. Sometimes we're not that lucky.
