12 hours and counting

Hi all,
Just finished reading several more postings and I'm feeling cool, calm and collected and ready for my trip to the castle in 12 short more hours. I've got my final load of laundry in the dryer, bag is packed (except for nightgown-good thing I read that post or I'd have been nightie-less), chapstick, nurse treats, heating pad, big panties, gas-x and airline pillow(being a flight attendant has its perks). Just took doc ordered laxative, wrote out instructions for DH on how to use my cellphone to call my parents from Castle, printed out list of how to Pamper a Punctured Princess from the pull down menu, my dust bunnies are in hiding in their hutch and I won't go looking for them for a while. Thanks for all the great info I've found on this site, wish I would have had a support group 3 yrs. ago when I lost half my nose to cancer. See ya on the other side cuz I'm sure to have lots of post-op ??

Good luck!

Linda,

Just wanted to wish you luck! You sound very cool and organized, which I can relate to. Some people would call me anal-retentive ... I just cope better when I have a plan.

So, best of luck. Hope the hospital staff treats you great and that your recovery is smooth!

Dear Linda:

Best of luck to you. Everything will be fine and you will be so glad when this is over and you are on the post-op side with the rest of us!
