Nearly 4 weeks post hysterectomy: Strange discomfort, possibly ovaries???

I had a TLH on the 20th of October 2014. The last couple of days I've had some weird discomfort either side of my body, I'm presuming it's my ovaries waking up. Has anyone else had this or any ideas what it is?

I had my right ovary and tube removed. I have had some weird pains as well. I was told by the dr before surgery that I may feel ovulation in the left one at its normal time even though everything else was taken. Hope this helps.

Is it a stabbing pain? I just started having a stabbing pain on my left side and running a low grade temp this week. It could coincide with ovulation (I so didn't think of that).

My ovaries felt like they were boxing Ali v. Frazier style about a month or so after my TAH. Then I felt an "aura" of menstrual cramps (ghost cramps? LOL). It has since calmed down now that I can feel myself back on a normal cycle.

It is a stabbing pain but both sides. I didn't wonder if it was ovulations but can't understand why it's both sides

Yes mine felt like stabbing in the right, it must have been "phantom"pain. I will see what next month brings. To see if it happens in the ovary that was left.

I had my sub total hysterectomy 6 weeks ago. Sometimes when I stretch in bed I have a feeling as if something has snapped inside of me. Weird sharp pain. Has anyone has this feeling?
