Bowel Agony!!

I have had the worst constipation. I'm 2 weeks out and I either have one extreme or the other!! I had edometriosis on my colon that had to be removed and now I'm anemic from blood loss during surgery. My dr. has me on iron, oscal-d, and my pain meds (which I am now only taking in the evenings to help with sleep due to the restless nights due to soreness) and all of these things lead to constipation. I took stool softners for the first week home (when it seemed the worst). I'm just wondering how much longer this will last. I walk daily now. I drink nothing but water now and lots of it. I tried adding a few things to my diet to help like prunes but that seemed to lead to the other extreme. I'm impatient about this healing process!! lol

oh wow i feel yha i have been having a tough time with bms the meds are constpating me and omg let me just say i am afraid to go poo it hurts so bad I have just gotten to the point i have stoped my pain meds so i can poop. I know how you feel my doc said nothing to me about bm issues eaither. im sure we will get though this tho in time it will pass
