Bleeding

I've been going great up till today! I think I over did the walking yesterday and today I've had some bleeding when I've gone to the toilet. I rang my doctor and he said it may be the stitches are dissolving and this is what can happen. It's really given me a little shock and set back it's happened only twice today and I'm trying not to panic. Please will you let me know if this happened to you at about 16 days post op. Otherwise I've been really good. By the way today would've been the day my period would be due. Is this coincidence? Look forward to hearing from any of you about this. Wouldn't you know it only yesterday I guess I boasted to a friend about how I've barely had any discharge or bleeding. Ahhhhh! Look forward desperately for response. CC

Bleeding

I think you posted this as I replied to your last one! I had slight bleed and discharge up to about 7 weeks. Others have very little! I got fed up of buying more panty liners but at least no sanitary protection is needed now- the time will come I promise!
Best wishes.

Bleeding

I'm having no discharge but my gyn told
me that, if I had some, it'd have been NORMAL
so don't worry.
And...forget about your period, it has nothing to
do with that! Just a coincidence.

Bleeding

I started "spotting" if you could it that around day 10 but it never shows on the liners (which I gave up on) only when I wipe. It is normal. Some days it is more, some days less. All a part of the healing, but when it is done IT WILL BE DONE FOREVER! YEA!!!

Bleeding

I am now going on 9 weeks since surgery, have been back 2 times now to the doc with HEAVY bleeding. They finally have determined that I have a "surgical hematoma" AND some granulated tissues that werent healing. I have been bleeding now heavy for 5 weeks. It has gradually gotten as bad as a period. They coterized -(spelling?) one spot yesterday and told me to return in 2 weeks. At this time if the hematoma has not gone down they will have to surgically drain! Caution to all whose doc's have said just wait and hope it goes away! It doesnt always!
