Looking for Sisters who are 9 months post LSH

My Mom just booked a cruise for us in October 2008. We will be going on a 15 Night Hawaii Cruise on Celebrity Cruises ship Mercury Sailing October 22, 2008 out of San Diego. Will I have any issues with all the walking and exercise I will be doing at that point in my recovery?

My LSH was 1/22/08.

Of course we are all different in our recovery process. But I would say that unless you've had some post op problems you should probably be okay. As soon as the doctor gives you the go ahead, just start slowly building yourself up. Remember your stomach muscles will be weak and in turn your back may also not be as strong as it would normally be. But if you take the workouts slow. You will probably be ready for a vacation from the healing!

unless you have major setbacks, 9 months is plenty of time to recover from an lsh. you should have no problems at all.

dressedinblue is right. I was back at work in 10 days, and I'm only at 4 months and I don't even remember having surgery!
