Depressed

It has been 2 months since I had my TLH. Everything went as to be expected. Today I am down in the dumps. I have been having this vaginal discomfort and pelvic pain. The pain is on my right side which is also the side where I had my ovary removed. The pain goes all the way down to my knee. Today I just feel like crying. I want so desperately to get back to myself for my children and my husband. I made an appointment to see my doctor. It's scheduled for 7/16/12. I want to get a thorough check up to see what going on. Thanks for listen to me. I just had to vent to keep from crying my eyes out.

I'm still that's when I notice the pain. I've been on my feet a lot. So now I'm wondering if this had anything to do with it?

Re: Depressed

So sorry you're having so much pain. Definitely a good thing to see your dr about it.
I'm 3 months post-op and still have some pain, but not like you're describing. I know what you mean about just wanting to be back to yourself again. It's a longer recovery than I expected. Hope you get some answers and some help. Don't forget to ask for pain relief if you need it. I always manage to forget til the dr's left the room.
Good Luck

Sometimes a pain after this many weeks is due to too much of something. Stay down, rest and relax for a few days and see if it goes away. Best wishes!

Re: Depressed

I used to get that pain down the knee when I had endometriosis before my hysto. It's a nerve thing and no matter how much you rub your leg, it isn't going to get better. I hated that.
Since the pain isn't really in your leg, try a heating pad on your abdomen. It can relieve some of the pain going down your leg.
I'm sorry you are going through so much pain. I hope your appointment goes well and you can get some answers and some relief.
