Surgical stretch mark hurts...anyone else?

I have a new stretch mark from my surgery. It's on the right side where they had to do lots of work due to my ovary being stuck to the bowel on that side. I know they had to pump me up on that side quite a bit.

Here's my question...the new stretch mark is really pink and hurts more than anything else related to the surgery...has anyone else experienced this? Is it possible to have a stretch mark get infected? I'm not running a fever or anything. Just trying to figure out why this seems to be so bothersome when all else is heading in the right direction.

I'm sorry to say, I've never heard of this. Your thinking of what it it is and why makes sense. I would sure call and ask your dr about it.
Maybe someone will see this today and have experienced it too. I hope this will heal up and be better for you soon. If you find out anything more about what it is and why you have it, please let us know.
