post op 7 weeks... lots of pain... now spotting

Hi Sisters,

I am so tired of all this pain... Now I am spotting brownish-pink discharge... Shouldn't this be overwith at 7 weeks?

My pain has increased to about a 7 this morning...sharp and stabbing... I'm also a little dizzy this morning... another new symptom...

Called Drs office... they said spotting is normal... saw a pain Dr. yesterday who had no clue about pelvic pain... when I told him I had a TVH... he had me lay down and says... "Hmmmm I don't see your incision."

Ummmm... I had to show him where my uterus was removed by pointing to my crotch! UGH!

I just KNOW there is something wrong... I feel it... and don't know what to do... just venting I guess.

Thanks

Maybe you could go and see the doc that did your surgery and he/she could be more helpful. Good Luck to you.

Re: post op 7 weeks... lots of pain... now spotting

I just called them and they won't give me anymore pain meds.... my surgeon said this was the pain management drs job... I'm scared, frustrated, and in lots of pain...

I feel like everyone just wants to be rid of me...

The nurse at my drs. office said the only thing I can do about the pain now is to go to the ER.

Or another Doctor close by? You are right any spotting at 7 weeks needs investigation. You must have wanted to run out of there when he went looking for an incision. I have had that sort of Medical ignorant incident and it makes me want to howl at the moon like a crazy person. Forget these Doctors, go see another one, get an internal check as to why you are still spotting, because clearly you are not fully healed yet.
