Nightmares

Surgery is Wednesday and I think I'm doing well on the nervousness side of things ...... this may make some of you laugh out loud.....those of you that are newly post-op don't laugh to hard.

OMG.....last night I had a dream that I took nothing not a single thing with me to the hospital......a nurse a faceless nurse at that, asked "dear where is you overnight bag for tomorrow??? I'm looking around some odd room and I start freaking out, spinning in circles and looking all over the place.
Of course the other part of this dream was I was in Pre-op at the hospital and the doctors came in and hello how are you. and this is the doctor that will be doing your lipo?????? good lord I must have eating something last night that made me have these odd dreams.

Well, since you seem to have such a good sense of humor about it, let me warn you about the after-surgery dreams. They get pretty insane!!! It seems to be all the anesthesia in the system.

If I could have filmed my post-surgery dreams, I could have sold them and become a millionaire (they would have been in some kind of sci-fi/horror drama genre!)

Best wishes to you on your upcoming surgery. I'm pretty sure your nurse will have a face! Just don't forget your bag!

I remember having some pretty strange dreams while pre-op too. I think it may be our subconsious at work

I suppose we're getting ready to go through a big change and afterward, we'll need to adjust too. Dreams are just one way we can get that weird stuff out of our systems.
