TAH Spotting and incision pain

I am 13 days post op, over did it with walking and shopping about 2 days ago, was not having much pain before then, now my incision is burning and hurting.. And I am spotting, nothing in my undies, but a reddish sometimes brownish tinge when I wipe. First time I've had this since day of surgery. I see my doc on Friday for a ck up, but I am worried that I'm going backwards.. Still painful to cough and sneeze, and my lower back and sides hurt too.......

I had a TAH 19 days ago. Today my incision was so painful, although no spotting at all the whole time. Are u using an abdominal binder? I find I keep going back to mine and it does provide some relief. Also still using pain meds when I just cant stand it. And coughing, sneezing and nose blowing are just not happening. All this will pass and we will come out the other side new women. :-)

I think you sound totally normal for your recovery time. I also had TAH and was experiencing the same things at this time too.

Thank you ladies!!! I find when I hold my lower tummy, it relieves the pain.... I can't wait to feel like a new woman.... Starting to already

Did you ladies have any issues with going pee n poo? Still having some discomfort..

Definitely, both hurt. When i hot to end of pee my bladder would spasm. My doc called in pyridium and Urispas. Those things helped but not completely. BM's? I think you will find a lot of ladies on here with very painful, towel biting BM's. I am at week 3 and it is improved but still not something I look forward to. Best wishes!

Ooh how do you know if your bladder is spasming? What does it feel like? My oee feels super hot then after it almost feels like a bladder infection ache..

My stream would get jerky and uneven and I would have pain right above pubic bone where bladder is. This would happen as bladder got empty.
