Why is my tummy skin rippling? Help!

I was blowdrying the band-aids on my lap incisions after a shower this morning. My tummy skin was rippling as the air hit my tummy. It looked really weird! I held the blowdryer against other bits of my body, but nothing rippled.

What the heck is going on? Is it because the skin has not had time to shrink now that the fibroids & womb have been removed?

Would really appreciate your advice on this one!

Hi! Not sure what you mean exactly by rippling, but I'm assuming (since you didn't mention it) that it's not painful.

My skin also seemed kind of loose and saggy at first. Now, at six weeks, it looks pretty much like it did before the surgery. I chalked it up to the effects of swelling and post-surgery water retention.

Thanks, cpj. The skin seemed to move when air was blowing against it - kind of like water on a lake moves when the wind blows against it. It didn't hurt, so I'll take your advice and be patient. Thanks again for the help xx
