I'm sorry you're still having troulble so long after surgery. I'm guessing that you've talked to your gynecologist about this. It might be time to talk to your primary care physician or find another doctor.

Blood clots can be very serious, even small ones. You doctor should not be so dismissive. Clots and the problems they can lead to like strokes and heart attacks are not unheard of after oophorectomy. While you may have kept one ovary, it's possible that it's not functioning normally.

Your pressure and urinary problems could be caused by post-op swelling, which for some women can last for months. But it could also indicate an infection or possibly a hematoma (blood clot/pool of blood) near that site. Has your doctor done an ultrasound to try to ascertain what's causing the pressure?

If your doctor is unwilling to help you though these complications, I'd suggest getting another opinion. In the meantime, take it easy, see if you can keep your legs up some of the time to improve your circulation. Drink lots of fluids and if you've been given the okay to take NSAIDs, have some Ibuprofen to reduce swelling.

Take care and let us know how things are going.
