took tape off & HOT FLASH!

I'm at the one week anniversary and the tape over my incisions was getting ridiculous, flopping, half off anyway. I couldn't resist getting rid of it, although I was supposed to leave it until it fell off, supposedly around 2 weeks post op. I was also worried about the right side incision healing with a permanent pucker because the tape was buckled, causing an indent. Has anyone else removed their tape early?
I'm a flashing fool! I'm soaked as soon as I dry off from a shower!
In recent years I've been getting hot flashes with every period but I've had them every day since surgery, even though Dr said my remaining ovary would prevent surgical menopause. Hah!

Sorry you are having those hot flashes. Yes, your body may be having a hormone imbalance issue due to less hormones and your remaining ovary may be taking a nap so to speak. Hopefully, it will help you out soon and cool down the heat. If you have problems and they don't seem to be getting any better I would definitely tell the dr and see if he can give you something till your ovary wakes up.
