1 week post-op and feeling good!

Hello sisters! I am not quite 1 week post-op (uterus removal only) and I feel really good. The surgery went well (2 hours, minimum bleeding, all other repro. organs are healthy and were left intact, 2 days in hospital). I'm on Vicodin, which makes me a bit groggy but keeps me pain-free. I'm walking a bit and showering, etc. Plan to go back to work by Week 3 (work at home).

Just wanted to write to say THANK YOU for the moderators of this web site and to all of you for your postings and encouragement. This was a valuable resource to me.

I'm glad you're surgery went well and you are feeling pretty good. Keep up the resting and walking and drinking lots of water.
That's so nice you can work at home and be your own boss. Be sure the boss knows you need to pace yourself.
