Clothes and binder

I had my TAH on march 23rd and am still in alot of burning pain although I have to say a bit better than a week ago. I am so uncomfortable with even baggy pants on. I noticed wearing my DH workout binder does help when I am up doing things. For those of you wearing binders do you sit down with them on or take them off and does it hurt after it comes off? It seems like my belly swells more and hurts alot when I take the binder off. I have to say I am very frustrated at this point. Help!

Clothes and binder

i didn't wear a binder but i got those support underwear (firm support) and wore those. they were snug but they supported me and i didn't have to take them on and off. not that you have to take the binder on and off i just thought the underwear sounded more comfy.

I, too, have resorted to the extra support undies. They do seem to help with the pain issue. I bought the extra-firm ones. I also found that wearing my tight fitting jeans seem to help as well. It did hurt at first because I had a vaginal hyst done and the tightness bothered me in my neather-regions but not so much now. I can stand them a lot better. The extra support on my tummy allows me to do the things that I haven't been able to such as dishes and mild housework, like vacuuming and mopping and sweeping, and it does help keep the swelly-belly down to a minimum. I hope this helps some. I really know it did help me to add the support to my tummy during this.
