tummy pillow or not ?

That should work great! But if they mention "ambulance" you ask for every pillow within a 30 mile radius! Put them under you, around you, over you, every where!!!

I purchased a travel pillow from a local discount store. I've not used it much for coughing, sneezing, etc. However, it has become my best sleeping aid. I was feeling so good about three weeks post op that I put the pillow aside. I had a terrible time sleeping for the next few weeks, and one night I decided to try the pillow....slept all night long.
I am now nine weeks post op, and I'm still using the pillow.

I had a TVH and used my tummy pillow for laughing and sneezing and coughing. It became a kind of security blanket for me... and my DH was very in tuned to knowing the location of my pillow at all times... just like my Mom had been with my blanket 40 years ago. It really has given me a sense of security.
