6 days post op and weird spasms?

I'm six days post op from my LAVH (uterus, cervix, left ovary removed) and after having my foley removed yesterday, last night was the first night I actually didn't have to sleep in my recliner. I was so happy to sleep in my bed again and I was thrilled to get to sleep on my side. During the middle of the night though, I was awakened by crazy twinges in my vagina. I thought I may have pulled something. Even when I got up this morning and started walking around the 'pulling' feeling was there for awhile. Has anyone had this? Could it be the stitches in my vaginal cuff healing and tightening up? I don't think it's cause for concern but being only short of a week post-op, I'm going to cautiously question little twinges like this. I've had a great recovery so far (especially since they removed my foley yesterday). I'm not really exhausted. I have no problem walking around the house a lot and up my stairs a couple times a day. I haven't lifted ANYTHING, so I don't think I'm overdoing it.

Any thoughts/advice?

issconfused maybe it is your bladder having spasms. I had a catheter in and after it was removed for a while after and occassionally now I have bladder spasms. Other people have had them too. I hope this helps.

It may be your body adjusting to having the catheter removed, and regular healing going on, maybe you are moving more? Could be the blood rushing to the area when you stand up etc. I had all these same symptoms after having the foley removed.
