ice or heat

Hi Hairgal,

Both heat and ice worked for me early on. I'd start out with ice packs (actually bags of frozen peas), and if that didn't work then I'd wait a bit and try warm compresses. Early on, the ice seemed to work most of the time.

I hope you'll back off doing whatever it is that is causing your discomfort!

ice or heat

Sounds like the feeling of a baby moving around could be gas. I have that same feeling and it's gas moving around in there. Could it be that whatever you are doing has just got things stirred up and moving?? I hadn't thought of trying ice but I think I will try that as it would probably help with swelling and soreness. Take it easy and stop overdoing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks sisters, its not gas..its more like a popping around as another sister described..Im fortunate there is no pain but the fear Ive overdone it again..and yes today im back in bed with my feet up and ice packs on my stomach and heat on my back..lol..now how is that for a combination?

thanks so much
and for the encouragement to back off and take care...well if you moms know anything about that old saying..you can talk about me and hurt me but you better lay off my kid...well the moma bear felt she had to take on a battle for her child....lets just say, there is no man walking around that should ever mess with a woman whose hormones just got jerked out of her body....
