period started day of hysterectomy!

It was due that day and came without fear ha ha Its gave me that much pain and inconvience for years it was almost like revenge Ive managed to keep my ovaries, how do I know they are functioning ok? 7 days post op early i know but complusive worrier - anybody help?

Mine came day of my surgery also. It was kinda like revenge.. I was so drugged i asked the doctor if my ovarys are still there and still spit out the eggs did that mean i was gonna have "fried eggs" in my belly? lol
Not sure how to find out if the ovaries are working right. I never even thought about it....

my doctor told me that both blood supplies to my remaining ovary were healthy. Symptoms I had that showed me that my lone ovary was working was some twinging during ovulation (felt just like it always did) also had very sore breasts and my face broke out like crazy. I'm guessing that my hormones still need to level out but seems like the little guy is working!!

Usually signs that your ovary/ovaries are 'sleeping' are menopause symptoms like hot flashes!

Mine came two days EARLY, two days before the hyster! Ticked me off, but I was glad to be rid of it!
