Urination sensation question

Thanks ladies! I am still having problems, but it makes me feel better to know that it is-normal. You all are the best! Hang in there ladies!

I am 4 weeks post op today, and I had that disconnected from my bladder feeling as well. I assumed it was swelling. About last week I did start feeling much better, however, today I have a lot of pressure just all over my lower pelvic area. Maybe have a generalized feeling that could possibly be categorized like tingling or burning.. But only minor discomfort when I urinate. It is quite uncomfy to sit down in my chair. Debating whether or not to go to clinic.

If you are having a lot of pressure it is possible that you aren't emptying completely. That was what had happened to me and for me it was medicine that did it to me. I didn't have discomfort when urinating just pressure that kept building until I was ready to scream. I would go to the clinic just to be safe.Hope you feel better

I had a doctor tell me once to pee in the shower at least once a day. Gravity helps to empty the bladder. That is why men get less bladder infections. When women sit to urinate the bladder doesn't always empty.
