1 week post op hysterectomy - swelling and back pain

So my vertical TAH was a week ago today and I'm feeling pretty good. I have an unusually high pain tolerance so I've never really hurt much from the surgery itself. The incision from the drain put in during my ureter repair actually bothers me more than the 8 or so inch vertical incision does. I know I'm not typical, but was hoping to get some info on when I can expect the swelling to start going down and if anyone else had low back pain that wouldn't go away? My fibroids weighed over 10 lbs and I woke up in recovery feeling so roomy in my abdomen. By the next morning I was swollen and bloated and have not had that feeling since. I was in the hospital for 5 days due to the complications and almost 6 hour surgery, and my back had been really sore since day 2. Unfortunately that keeps me from being able to get comfortable in any position and even my own bed is terribly uncomfortable. Was just wondering if anyone else experienced this and when I might start to see improvement. Thanks in advance.

Thank you! I move around really well. I haven't had trouble since the first couple of times I got up and although I'm easily winded I've even been able to walk a couple of miles without many issues. I feel like my back needs to be popped into place, but unfortunately I can't twist or bend far because my bladder had to be tacked up during the ureter repair. Was hoping perhaps it is just another symptom that will dissipate.
