still tire so easily 2 weeks post hysterectomy

Hello friends,
I am at the 2 week mark after surgery today. I'm a little worried about tiring so easily still. I've been following all the great advise I've found on this great site. How are you all managing?

Don't be worried! You're supposed to be tired. Your body is using all this energy to heal. I am 5 weeks post op and still scheduled large amounts of downtime. My friend picked up her pre op life as soon as she could and ended up feeling tired for 6 months. Take the time now to care for yourself so you can get back to your normal routine without any side effects.

Thank you for replying and giving support. I appreciate the affirmation that I'm not alone with this. I am self employed and scheduled myself back to work starting next week thinking I'd be ready to go! I am realizing that I'm really going to have to take it very slow and easy.
