6 week post op

I had my 6 week post op appt today (I'll be 6 weeks out on Friday). The dr said everything looks and feels great! I asked him about all the pressure I'm still feeling and the tummy issues and he said it was all a normal part of healing. I'm still on pelvic rest for at least another 4 weeks until my next appt. I'm really raw and the exam hurt like heck! I'm spotting a bit now which I'm assuming is normal. The one thing I forgot to ask about was my hormone levels. I kept my overies but Im pretty sure they are still napping. I'm still having horrible night sweats and I get hot flashes throughout the day which make me feel queesy and I'm broken out like a teenage girl. I called him to ask about that and waiting for the call back. I was glad to hear him say it looks like I'm healing nicely though because I was starting to wonder. The pressure I feel is just as bad as it was preop if not worse!

Re: 6 week post op

It is great to hear that you are healing well! Hopefully you ovaries and hormones will even out soon, too!
