Average cost of LAVH?
Just received the quote from insurance and my husband and I were rather shocked. Could anyone share how much their LAVH cost? Live in OH if geography is a significant factor. thanks!

As you said, geographic location has something to do with it, as well as the hospital, the doctors, anesthesiologist, etc. It also depends on the insurance company, your plan, your deductible, and copay.

I live in the North East and just the hospital portion not counting the doctor which I haven't rec'd the bill for it was over $25,000.

I am interested to see the bill after my surgery. Luckily I have insurance. I had a d&c and essure tubal occlusion in sept and the total billed amount was $40k. The insurance discount rate was $10k of which I only had a couple hundred dollar copay for. I would not be surprised to see a bill for at least 50% more than that. I am in ca
