Yes, it is definitely normal to still feel tired after 1 week......
I will be at the 6 week mark tomorrow and still have some days that I am more tired than others.... It usually happens when I have over done the day before....
While my tummy is a little bit swollen still I don't think it is as large as what others seem to describe with their experience....
I consider myself very lucky and blessed to have had such a positive and uneventful surgery and recovery process.....
Best wishes to you and just remember to enjoy the recouperation time.....

Being tired at one week is very normal. Just remember to rest when you need it.
As for the belly, mine was really big, and it's still bigger than normal, but noticeably smaller than it was at one week. I can wear my larger sized jeans now. Everyone is different, and some have less swelly belly than others.
I'm almost 4 weeks and doing well, but I still get tired. That will probably last for a while.

I'm at one week also
Hi there!
It's been one week for me also. I had my TVH last Tuesday and I'm feeling pretty much the same as you. I was up a bit too much yesterday, so today I am spending in my I feel like I should be so much stronger but my body says NO. I am trying my best to listen and take it much easier than I was.
I don't have too much of a swelly belly since it was a tvh but it is bigger than normal. It feels "huge". I can't even imagine putting on my jeans.
Hope we are back to feeling normal again soon!
Connie

Hey! I would say that my swelly belly lasted about two weeks or less. I truly believe that ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) helped me TREMENDOUSLY as it is an anti-inflammatory.
Others have posted about swelly belly for over a year though so I'm sure we are all different.
At 3 weeks, I am having trouble getting to sleep but being tired is certainly normal. Just listen to your body and take care of yourself mind and body!
