Re: HUbby is on his last thread ..He'll get over it

CKY - I totally agree about the mental aspect being the hardest. My husband has been very understanding and despite working full time himself, has picked up the majority of the household chores. It is me that is struggling with feeling guilty when I look around and inevitably it gets messy even with him trying his hardest.
I have suffered a few times over the past few weeks when I have obviously overdone things and that just reminds me that I cant do it.
On the other hand, I cant do NOTHING, so am now trying to do just a wee bit every day - empty and load the dishwasher and put away the clothes that my husband has ironed etc. Makes me feel a bit better

Take care and take it easy everyone x

Re: HUbby is on his last thread ..He'll get over it

hello
i had to chuckle as i thought it was just my husband being a doofus. first off i had a abdiominal hysterectomy on jan 13 2011. his mom had a vaginal one years ago so i keep hearing well my mom did good... my hubby has helped out but now figures i can do all housework and i should be going for walks in our neighbourhood which is rural and not plowed ... stick to your guns .... I Remeber when he had a vasectomy and it was the end of the world...any type of hysterectomy is difficult .

Re: HUbby is on his last thread ..He'll get over it

If it were my husband, Id tell him that no amount of complaining is going to make you feel better or heal any faster. And maybe explain to him the consequences of doing too much too soon. Everyone's rate of healing is different based on all kinds of things, kwim? So, tell him to suck it up and deal with it LOL. And while he's at it, you'd love a cup of tea and some toast (or whatever you fancy)
