Make the Dreams stop!!

Oh jeez, the dreams I have been havng for the last 2 weeks are over the top. They are either Very sexual in nature or very greusome! Last night I dreamed I was being chased house to house by murderers! In my dream I saw my 2 daughters get killed, it was aweful! Today at nap time it was over the top sexually. I am on no pain meds and no other meds that are out of the ordinary (BP med and Tylenol) I have my ovaries, what gives?

Make the Dreams stop!!

I had weird dreams for about 3 weeks after the surgery...I think the general anesthesia plays around with your head a lot. Mine wore off as time went on...I am sure yours will as well

Make the Dreams stop!!

I had the same problem post surgery. Since I've laid off the meds, it's stopped. Maybe anesthesia has something to do with it. ya think? Alot of sisters here said they had intense/vivid dreams as well.

Hmmm..I'm speechless. Sorry I can't help. I will say though, if you were only on pain meds for 1/2 week your AWESOME!! I just stopped at 2wks.

Make the Dreams stop!!

I personally think it just depends on the person....I didn't drive my car for over 4 weeks because I was lightheaded much of the time...as time went on, it went away...I didn't hardly take any of the prescribed pain meds, so I tend to blame how I felt on the general. The weird dreams were a big issue for me because they seemed larger than life! If you still have questions though, most certainly ask your doctor.

Yeah, My Surgery was 08-17, I was sent home on 08-22 and stopped taking pain meds on 08-21, so I was only on them for 5 days. Not to brag. I didnt feel comfortable taking them, my mother abused pain pills and I was afraid of falling in her footsteps. I am REALLY werid about that. I do take Tylenol though if I need it.
