5th week post op-PAIN!

I am in my 5th-week post-op and having pain in my lower right side(ovaries removed) and having cramps in the same area along with some swelling. Been feeling pretty good until now. I am not bleeding and I not bled since my surgery. Did try to do some lite house cleaning about 3 days ago and have been in the bed since. Did I do too much, is it normal or should I call the DR?

Did you vacuum? My doc told me no vacuuming for a long time, it uses abdominal muscles more than anything else. You might have just overdone it a bit, but I would say do call the doctor if it's still going on tomorrow, just to ease your mind if nothing else. I've had a lot of these kinds of two steps forward, one step backwards kind of things. Good luck and hang in there. Hugs, Genie

I agree that a call to the dr would be a good idea. If you have been feeling pretty good and have new pain when you know you exerted yourself you could have just over done, but in 3 days it seems like it should have settled down. Let us know what you find out.
