Surgery moved up to Monday! This is crazy!

They called and he had a cancellation for Monday. I took it. I must be crazy. But I'm ready to be out of pain for these cysts.

Preop today!

I'm still so paranoid by the fact that I'm hpv+. Even though that's not my reason for the hysterectomy..and my doctor says it won't be an issue for me.. Since I've never had any cancer or precancerous cells.

The sooner you do it, the sooner it's done. :-) And you'll be in better shape for the holidays. Good luck, and keep us all posted!

Just went to my pre-op visit...let the fear begin.... It's happening so fast.

just a new chapter in your life. sending you well wishes. we always fear the unknown. when you wake up from the op don't b afraid to tell the nurses if you hurt. that is what they are there for. they won't know if you don't tell them.

Headed to the store to finish shopping and get things prepared.. Any suggestions on what to take to the hospital? With any luck it will go very well and I'll be out the next day.

Clothing that's easy to get into and out of, and that's warm. Flannel shirts (they open along the front, no need to pull anything over your head), and sweatpants (that don't bind around your middle). Warm socks and shoes you can slip into. Cellphone and charger.

I took a nice comfy pair of pj bottoms and some slippers
