TAH 8 weeks post hysterectomy - pms symptoms

Hi sisters. I have had a headache similar to the one I would have during my period as well as the acne that came with it. Is anyone experiencing anything like this. Just when I thought things were getting somewhat normal.

I see that you kept one or both ovaries. Your ovaries will still go through their monthly hormone cycles. There's still going to be a week where progesterone is dominant. If you're prone to PMS, that's when it will happen. Basically, you're still having periods, just without any bleeding.

Yep. Every month, like clock work, I experience the exact PMS symptoms I've had for years.

I know that ovary is still there, pumping out hormones, but I wish it would get the message that we don't need to do that nonsense anymore - there is no more menstrual cycle!

Same thing is happening to me. I'm just glad I'm no longer bleeding through outfits and I have no associated period pain. This is way better!

Thanks ladies. At least now I know it's normal. I'm thankful it does not come with the unbearable bleeding too.
