Lots of anxiety but happy

I am having my surgery in about 2 weeks and am so happy to finally be done with all of this! I feel bad for everyone that has to deal with me though! I have been so moody and crying at the drop of a hat. My husband says I am like a roller coaster. I had my pre op appt. today (my doc is going on vacation next week) and I have felt sick to my stomach and sad all day! It seems so silly because I know that I will feel so much better soon. Reading everyone elses stories have really helped me feel better and not like the only one who is dealing with this. Thank you and good luck to you all

Hi!

You certainly aren't alone in your feelings and emotions. Many of us have gone through the same thing. You are in my prayers for an uncomplicated surgery and recovery!

It's ok to be emotional. We've all been there. I'm glad you got your date and you will be much better soon. Keep us posted on your recovery.

Lots of anxiety but happy

I found that I was much more emotional and nervous 2wks before surgery than I was at 1 week before surgery.
For me, it was like a calm as I got closer. Hope the same happens for you!

My surgery date is the same as yours and I've really done pretty well hormonally (that is according to me, maybe not the family) UNTIL today...boy I've had a B*#@!* attitude with EVERYONE today!! What's up with that. I hope tomorrow is better. I feel fat, tired and crabby.

My surgery date is for the 8th. I totally understand what you are going through, as I sit here & cry right now (for no reason). I work strange hours on a "bloodmobile", recieved 2 calls from the Doc today & was unable to return them. I have to have hubby call for me tomrrow & won't know whats up till tomrrow night. We live in central Florida, my son went to South Fl to visit & got caught in the hurricane, spoke to him since, but still worried.I feel like I'm going to expolde from anxioity! Quick someone call the Kleenex fairy .

We all feel nervous & anxious while waiting for our surgery...not to mention moody! I understand how you are feeling but it's very normal. I have days when I don't want to see or talk with anyone & I feel like *punch* someone...but I don't of course! Good luck with your operation & have a speedy recovery.

Lots of anxiety but happy

Sounds like the day I had. 1 - bad day at work
2 - CD is stuck in my car stereo and of course they have to order a part and then the kicker 3 - I get home and ask who was in our bathroom. The neighbor kid peed all over and pooped on the toilet seat. I was ready to go next door and have him clean it up. My DH wants me to be my old happy self but it is so difficult. Having TAH and removal of ovarian cyst on 11/3. Take care, hopefully time will fly and it will be over soon.
