Does anyone else need to pee all the time.

I am definitely drinking more than usual, but I am also peeing ALL the time. My doc did a test for UTI and it is completely clear. It feels like my bladder is full and it gets uncomfortable several times a day. When I do pee I have a lot of pressure. Is this normal?

You know, I had my TVH on DEc. 3rd and I know I seem to have to go to the bathroom WAY more than I ever have and I go alot pre-surgery. I also have been drinking a lot more water, so I am assuming it is normal. You're not alone

I did the same thing the first 2 weeks post op. I'm now 3 weeks post op & the frequent urination has improved. My bladder didn't work well prior to surgery & I retained LOTS of fluid. Since surgery my bladder works great & has been able to flush out all of the excess fluid. My uterus was very enlarged & puting weight on my lower extremities. Maybe you had the same problem.

Yep! Almost 6 weeks and still peeing all the time. But I am still drinking lots of water otherwise I have bowel issues.

I've got constant pressure like I need to pee, but then Nothing!! Same as when I was 9mos pregnant.

Probably all depends upon where you might still have swelling internally. In my case, my uterus was so big from fibroids and pressing on my bladder, than now....after hyster....I feel I have to pee so much LESS. But if you have swelling pushing on your bladder where it wasn't before, you might feel as though you have to pee more.

Yes, very normal. It gets better.

6 weeks post op & still have this problem

Has my 4 week post op visit with my Dr. today and asked about the bladder pressure. She said my bladder as having spasms due to the surgery. Perfectly normal and when all my swelling goes down I should be fine.
