Questions about work and stitches

I was going to ask my Doctor if I could back to work on week 3, as I also have a desk job. What do you think? Do you have any idea how many internal stitches you get? I had a vaginal hyst. and only lost my uterus.

Questions about work and stitches

I have no idea how many stitches I have internally. I know she said there are a lot! I would think if your doctor allows you to go back to work, then I would just be sure to let your work know that if you start to get uncomfortable, etc that you may need to leave. Some employers might think that if you are back that you ready to start back at full speed. I used to work for my dad and I went and helped him out a couple days this week for about 3 hrs each day and I can tell you that I was a little sore and tired just after 3 hrs. That is why I have told my employer that I will be back but if I need to leave, I will! I had a lot more done surgery wise than you did, so you may be in better shape than me!
