Increase in twinges?

I am eleven weeks post op from a Lavh with posterior repair and have had an increase in painful pelvic twinges. I don't know if it is because of returning to work and all the heavy lifting and pushing...or if its more coincidence. Anyone else experiencing this?

Increase in twinges?

It's crazy you asked this. I got on tonight because I'm having these weird pains near my pelvis on both sides. I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced it? I had my surgery on January 29th.

Re: Increase in twinges?

Thats where mine have been! Both sides by my hips but dedinately in my pelvis. Not as bad as during my first few weeks of recovery but still enough to make me stop and go OW!

Re: Increase in twinges?

I have that too. Does it feel pinchy also? I think mine is internal stitches. Worse when I've been sitting upright or driving.

Re: Increase in twinges?

I am experiencing the same thing. I think it is the ovaries because I've had this feeling before surgery. I go to dr tomorrow so I'll ask her thoughts.

Re: Increase in twinges?

I've had those pulling/pinching sensations in my hips too. THEY HURT! They are in the ovary area, but I dont have ovaries. It's so weird all the different pains and sensations associated with this surgery.

Re: Increase in twinges?

It just makes me feel more reassured if I know others are experiencing similar aches and pains. 😄

Re: Increase in twinges?

My twinges have moved from pelvic area to mid back on left side. Not sure what that's about.

Re: Increase in twinges?

My doc said they clip the ligaments that suspend your uterus on either side...pull them together and stitch them to the end of the vagina cuff to keep it from prolapsing. This stretching has got to cause some symptoms if you think about it.
