stabbing pain in lower sides

Does anyone else get a stabbing pain on their lower sides of the abdomen? Mine will come and go but will last a few minutes. My surgery was almost 5 weeks ago. I still have my ovaries.

Yep, I have the stabbing pains too. They don't happen too often and are ususally fleeting. If they last, moving around seems to help. Since I am still healing inside, I attribute the pains to that. They aren't bad enough to curb my activities. If yours are, perhaps you should call the dr. Also, I do not have my ovaries so the cause of my pains could be different from yours.

stabbing pain in lower sides

Hello there! I'm on my 2.5 weeks since my surgery. When I went in to have my staples taken out, my doctors nurse told me that if I feel some prickly pinching jabs...those would be my nerves, my nerves working on healing and reconnecting. I had a few occassions of experiencng them. They are not overly painful..I even had a few minor jolts in my bottom where my yinyang is, where my other stitches are at...ha, ha, ha.
Remember, these are not intense pain, just are light and minor jolts. To each their own, mine don't feel like stabbing.
If it's stabbing, which sound intense to me...you may wanna consult your doctor.
Take care and get better girlie.

Yes. It can get very intense.

I have experienced it just a couple times. Mostly on my left side, When I first wake up and laying flat on my back in bed. When I get up, it stops.

I think it's either my ovaries kicking back into gear, or my muscles that have been relocated to support my pelvic floor.
