Bright red blood? Anyone have this after?

Has anyone else had bleeding? I mean, pretty heavy bleeding. My LAVH (kept ovaries) was 8/31 I wound up in e/r on 9/3 for very heavy bleeding. Am bleeding again today? The dr's all thought it might have been "pockets" of blood pooling inside that fill and release? This is getting scary. My hemoglobin is already low, below 8.0 so I am getting worried. I see Dr for my 1 week follow up today.

Re: Bright red blood? Anyone have this after?

I think you should call your doctor, at the very least. Maybe head back to the ER. The very same thing happened to me after my cone biopsy. I had a huge disgusting clot that broke loose and opened up the flood gates. Nearly bled out. My hemoglobin was down to 6 by the time they got me back into emergency surgery.

Please get help if you're bleeding!! I'm worried about you!

Re: Bright red blood? Anyone have this after?

Appt went fine. After the night when I opened up and bled everywhere, I have only had one "spill". Follow up appt today went fine. No need to come back for a month. He did say w/ bladder repair some bleeding is normal as it is just an overflow that happens. Nothing to panic about unless it is a continuous bleed and not just a "spill".

I had those pockets of blood after my first c-section. It was scary. Glad to hear all is going well now.

He said the pockets aren't common but with any type of stomach surgery they can happen... it is sure scary when it does though!!
