slight bleeding almost 5 months post op

Hi ladies--This is my first time posting---but this site helped me alot pre & post op. I now have a question. I had a TAH (ovaries removed too)with vertical incision on Aug. 2, 2006.
Had a wonderful recup & fast. Last nite & now today too---I noticed slight bloody discharge, mostly on the TP. I will admit that I started some tummy crunches just yesterday---so I'm assuming it is from that. I probably will give the doc a call after the new year--but I was wondering if anyone out there can relate to this ahppening to them? I am in no pain at all. I was just so surprised to see anything on the TP, that now I am befudddled. Thanks.

I've heard of this happening after something strenuous takes place with women here, but have not experienced it myself. Hopefully, other sisters who have, shall come along and share.

Take care.....................s....Deb

Ironically I had the same thing happen to me today. I took a gravity class at the gym yesterday--felt fine today a little sore & then noticed the blood on the TP. I carried some boxes today but I don't know if either was what caused it. I put on a panty liner and that seems to be fine. I too will call the Dr. on Tues but was shocked since I have not had any bleeding since 5 wks. Take care.

This is happening to me-- I am 12 weeks and noticed yesterday and today blood, red, pink or brown on the TP. I noticed some tissue , brownish in the bottom of the toilet, not a lot though. I though have done nothing strenous. ALthough two days before I had some pulling like a stitch on the right side where that ovary was removed. Not a lot of pain just that it was there. I posted elsewhere on this but no replies yet.
I may call the doc on Tuesday.

I had some slight blood at about 12 weeks & doc says it probably was a blood vessel close to surface because when he checked me out (yep, wouldn't have been able to rest without having it checked to be sure), he said everything was perfectly fine.

I guess we have to remember that we had major surgery & altho incision healing pretty well (for most of it on the outside), still a whole lot of healing going on in the inside. I should have asked doc approximately how many stiches inside? Anyhow, yes, I would suggest following thru with visit to doc.

Hope things go well at docs.

Blessings,
PWG

Thanks you made me feel a bit better-- I will call her tomorrow. It is not like I am "flowing", it is more on the TP and not real fresh looking, so I am hoping it is normal.
