LAVH: Freaking Out Surgery in 13 Hours

Good luck with your surgery i know how you feel im having mine 8/13/2o12 im also freaking out.

The preop people are great and voice your concerns to the anestheologist when they come talk to you, and even though he said no IV pain meds chances are they will have some to give you in recovery. I know the nurse with me in recovery told me that they gave me all kinds of stuff during surgery to keep me from being nauseous and she had phenergan and pain meds to give if needed first little twinge I felt and she was giving me pain meds luckily never needed phenergan. Just remember its like falling asleep and when you wake up u won't realize how long you were asleep. Good luck tomorrow hugs to you
