Swelly Belly 5 wks post

Hi,

I mainly lurk around the boards however, I need some input if all possible..I have started back to work on Monday full-time with Dr's okay. I am through with my second full day..I work at a construction and my work consist of paper pushing but alot of walking around. It doesn't hurt to walk but it does hurt if I am sitting a while and get up. It feels as though my pelvic floor is going to fall out..LOL. Also, it seems around noon time my lower abdominal area starts to get swollen and hard..I know I have some GAS but what is all of these symptoms?..anyone else have these issue after starting back to work?...

The stiffness and "it's falling out" is pretty normal after sitting - try standing up for a minute or so every 20-30 minutes.

Swelly Belly - again normal and an indication that you are pushing yourself - in other words - you are over doing.

Can you work a shorter day or modify your routine - and go feet up for at least a half an hour at lunch....

Try wearing a lightweight control top panty or panyhose - added support for the tummy.
